ALGIERS- As per the latest weather forecast, a significant amount of rainfall is expected to persist in several central and eastern wilayas until Wednesday evening. The meteorological service has issued a second-level alert, highlighting the wilayas that will be affected by this weather phenomenon. These include Algiers, Boumerdes, Blida, Souk Ahras, Tipaza, Ghardaia, Laghouat, Bejaia, Mila, Guelma, Tizi Ouzou, Constantine, Jijel, Ain Defla, Medea, Bouira, Oum El Bouaghi, Tebessa, Batna, Djelfa, El Bayadh, and Khenchela.
Furthermore, a first-level bulletin has been issued, warning of thunderstorms that are expected to hit the wilayas of Sidi Bel Abbes, Tissemsilt, Bordj Bou Arreridj, Msila, Tiaret, Sétif, Tlemcen, El Meghaïer, Biskra, Saida, and Ouled Djellal. This bulletin will be valid for the eastern and interior regions from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. As for the central wilayas, it will remain valid until Wednesday evening.
