ALGIERS– Faithful to its commitments as a corporate citizenship, Djezzy is launching for the fourth consecutive year a solidarity operation on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan targeting destitute families, in partnership with the Algerian Red Crescent (CRA) and the Algerian Muslim Scouts (SMA) through several provinces of the country.
For this year, Djezzy has opted for the Rahma restaurants where meals are served throughout the holy month for the benefit of needy families. Up to 2,500 meals are distributed on a daily basis in Rahma restaurants in Algiers, Annaba, Souk-Ahras, Tlemcen, Adrar and Biskra.
For their part, the Algerian Muslim Scouts will serve 400 meals a day in two restaurants in the wilaya of Oran.
Through this initiative, Djezzy intends to contribute as a corporate citizenship to the national solidarity effort during the holy month by strengthening the spirit of sharing and mutual aid, two fundamental values for social cohesion and well-being.
