ALGIERS- The President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune held, Wednesday, phone talks with his brother, the President of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, Mohamed Ould Sheikh El Ghazouani, during which they exchanged greetings on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, said the Presidency of the Republic in a statement.
“The President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune received, today, a phone call from his brother, the President of the Republic of Mauritania, a sisterly country, Mr. Mohamed Ould Sheikh El Ghazouani, during which they exchanged good wishes on the occasion of the advent of the holy month of Ramadan,” the statement read.
In this vein, President Mohamed Ould Sheikh El Ghazouani congratulated President Tebboune on the advent of the holy month of Ramadan, wishing the Algerian people more peace and progress.
On the other hand, President Tebboune congratulated his Mauritanian counterpart, wishing the Mauritanian people more progress, concluded the same source.
