ALGIERS- President Abdelmadjid Tebboune offered in a speech, on Wednesday evening, his best wishes to the Algerian people for the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan, calling on merchants to show a spirit of solidarity and mutual aid.
“Fellow citizens, praise be to Allah Who has blessed us with his blessing to reach and live this sacred month in an atmosphere marked by piety and fraternity among all Algerians inside the country or abroad”, said President Tebboune.
In this wake, President Tebboune called on honest merchants “to show a spirit of solidarity, mutual aid and clemency and to resuscitate the authentic Algerian moral values on such occasions”.
The President of the Republic also affirmed that the State “has taken all measures for the supply of the market, in order to avoid any disruption in the distribution and to fight against any attempt to manipulate citizens’ food”, calling on the Algerians to “avoid bad consumption habits, in particular waste, in all its forms”.
