RCD’s Organizational Misconduct, Unsettling Appointments, and Associations with Terrorist Organization MAK Draw Public Scrutiny

Algiers, Algeria – In a startling turn of events, members of the Rally for Culture and Democracy (RCD) party have come under intense scrutiny and criticism for their actions during the 88th session of Humanity Day, held in Paris, France. Evidence of violating Algerian laws, customs, and traditions, and engaging in activities that run counter to the values of the Algerian people have cast a shadow over the party’s leadership.

During the 88th session of Humanity Day, hosted in Paris, France, members of the RCD (Rally for Culture and Democracy) party engaged in discussions related to the organizational aspects of their party, as outlined by resolutions from the Sixth Congress. Regrettably, these discussions took place on the sidelines of a French demonstration unrelated to Algeria or the cherished traditions, customs, and religious values held dear by the Algerian populace and their nation. This situation amounted to a breach of Algerian Republic laws and customs, reflecting an unfortunate deviation from the values upheld by both the state and its people.

During the celebration, the party leaders gathered around glasses of wine and were in the presence of individuals engaged in prostitution. These actions have raised serious concerns about the party’s dedication to the customs and traditions cherished by the Algerian people.

One of the most alarming developments during this meeting was the appointment of Ilyes Lahouazi as the head of the party’s office in France by RCD leader Othman Mazouzi. Lahouazi’s controversial background, which includes association with the terrorist organization MAK and leading campaigns against the Algerian military establishment in France, has raised eyebrows and generated outrage among Algerians.

The recent actions and decisions of RCD leaders, including their suspicious relations, reckless behavior, and indifference to the prestige of the Algerian state, have not gone unnoticed by the public. Many are now questioning the party’s dedication to the core values of Algerian society.

Algerians who have expressed their concerns wonder how they can trust the RCD when its leaders engage in activities that seemingly undermine the very values they claim to protect. As the party seeks to attain power and assume influential positions within the institutions of the Republic, these actions raise legitimate questions about the party’ suitability for such responsibilities.
