ALGIERS- The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has made a momentous announcement through a press release on Monday. Starting from November 15, a total of 1,904 teaching staff members will be recruited from university hospitals.

According to the same source, this recruitment operation will result in a remarkable 40% increase in the number of hospital-university teaching staff, which is currently estimated at 4,775. This development marks the largest recruitment initiative since the country’s independence.

It is important to note that this strategic approach aligns with the decisions made by the Council of Ministers on May 14, 2023, as highlighted in the press release.

This significant recruitment effort signifies a major step forward in bolstering the educational and research capabilities of our university hospitals. By expanding the pool of talented teaching staff, Algeria aims to enhance the quality of education and scientific research in its institutions.
