Representative of President Tebboune at Arab Summit: Algerian Premier arrives in Jeddah

ALGIERS- The Prime Minister, Aïmene Benabderrahmane, charged by the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune to represent him at the work of the 32nd ordinary session of the Council of the Arab League at the level of the Summit, arrived this Friday morning in Jeddah (Kingdom of Arabia Saudi), sister country, said a statement from the Prime Minister’s office.

In a speech during the meeting of Arab foreign ministers, preparatory to the 32nd Summit of the Arab League, Ahmed Attaf declared that this meeting “is held in a particular regional context marked by frantic developments which involve the pursuit of action to close our ranks and unify our voice in order to overcome the obstacles and challenges that prevent us from guaranteeing a place that befits our Arab nation, particularly in light of the imbalances that affect the system of existing international relations” .

The minister stressed the need to continue action and intensify efforts “to win the bets of joint Arab action and explore its promising prospects through the enhancement of authentic constants that bring Arab countries together, by putting aside the tensions that divide them, ”he continued.

The Minister recalled that Algeria, under the leadership of the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, has placed these objectives at the center of the priorities of its rotating presidency of the Council of the Arab League.
