ALGIERS- Mustapha Yahi, the Secretary-General of the National Democratic Rally (RND), has expressed unwavering support for President Abdelmadjid Tebboune during a regional gathering commemorating International Women’s Day, organized by the RND. Yahi emphasized the RND’s firm endorsement of President Tebboune’s bold stances on the Palestinian cause and the Sahrawi issue.
During his address, Yahi commended Algeria’s reemergence on the global stage and its advocacy for the Palestinian cause within the United Nations Security Council. He noted that Algeria’s robust defense of Palestinian rights has drawn opposition from certain quarters, seeking to undermine its principled stand.
Yahi highlighted the attempts by foreign lobbies to create uncertainty and disruption by questioning the timing of constitutional elections.
Moreover, he urged the government to enhance its strategic partnerships with pivotal nations, emphasizing the importance of diversification and expansion in this regard.
