Saida Neghza, President of the General Confederation of Algerian Enterprises and President of Business Africa, has been honored Friday in Monaco, by the French channel TV5 MONDE, as one of the influential feminist figures of the African continent.
On this occasion, Saida Neghza has received from the CEO of TV5 Monde, Yves Bigot and from the “Women of Africa in Action” (F.A.A.) program, the prize for the most influential female politician in Africa, for her fight for the economic development of the continent and in favor of African women and youth.
This is a high distinction that honors Algerian women and Algeria as a whole.
Saida Neghza, in a post on her official facebook page, wrote: “My sincere thanks and great gratitude to Mr. Yves Bigot, Chairman and CEO of TV5 MONDE, Ms. Mathilde Lafarge, Director of ONYX, and Ms. Sarah Noura Arif on behalf of the World Leaders Awards Authority, and all have been credited, directly or indirectly, for honoring her as one of the most influential feminist figures on the African continent.”
It should be noted that the Africa Women in Action program has been specifically designed to support the economic empowerment of women, a central driver of African economies.
Through a series of portraits broadcast throughout the month of March, F.A.A. went to meet 31 women leaders, influential and with high potential, who through their initiatives and actions, play a role of model in the development of African economies. Among these women Leaders, the distinguished laureate is Ms. Saida Neghza.
