Secretary-General of National Democratic Rally (RND): “The Coalition Is Open to All Political Elites”

Algiers, Algeria | May 23, 2024 — The Secretary-General of the National Democratic Rally (RND), Mustapha Yahi, participated, today, in the inauguration of a joint committee comprising political parties, such as the National Democratic Rally (RND), the FLN, the El Moustakbal Front, and the El-Bina El-Watani Movement.
Following the establishment of this joint committee, the Secretary-General of the National Democratic Rally emphasized its inclusivity, welcoming all active political elites to contribute. He affirmed that Algeria’s interests are safeguarded by everyone involved.
Mr. Yahi elaborated on the alliance’s objectives, highlighting the promotion of a “consensus candidate” as a priority. He underscored the significance of the upcoming presidential elections in September, emphasizing the need for collective mobilization among active political parties.
Furthermore, the spokesperson emphasized the importance of consensus in selecting a unifying figure who can preserve the achievements made since 2019 and continue implementing reforms to achieve national goals.
