Algiers, Algeria | September 22nd, 2024 — A second delegation of 60 representatives from Algerian start-ups has departed Algiers for the United States and China, participating in an international exchange program designed to connect them with established technology ecosystems.
As outlined by the Ministry of Knowledge Economy, Start-ups, and Micro-Enterprises, this initiative is part of the Algerian Startup Learning Expedition Program (ASEP). Participants will explore the vibrant tech environments of Silicon Valley, Boston, Beijing, and Shenzhen, gaining insights from major tech firms in these regions.
The ministry highlighted that the ASEP program aims to support a total of 450 start-ups, extending its reach to China, the United States, and South Korea. Interested start-ups can still register through the official website: www.asep.dz.
