ALGIERS- The national oil and gas group Sonatrach has, once again, confirmed its status as a corporate citizen par excellence.
Indeed, a collective circumcision operation for the benefit of nearly 400 children of the company’s workers but also needy children was organized, on April 14 and 14, by Sonatrach, at the CMS (Medico-social center) Ben Ali Chérif, read a press release from the company.
The operation, supervised by the CEO of the Group, Toufik Hakkar, is anchored in the traditions of Sonatrach. It was “a total success” as it has thrilled the circumcised and their parents.
Children dressed in traditional outfits offered by the Direction of social works of Sonatrach, will not soon forget a “moment that will remain forever etched in their memories”.
The Group CEO, Toufik Hakkar, on his part, ensured that “joy” was present, paying “particular interest to the means made available to the medical teams mobilized in the process of circumstance “.
