Sonatrach, ENI, and Equinor Sign Cooperation Protocol for Exploration and Development

ALGIERS- Sonatrach, along with its partners Eni and Equinor, has signed a Protocol of Agreement, signaling their commitment to strengthen their partnership and expand cooperation through a program to revitalize exploration and development activities in the regions of In Salah and In Amenas, in synergy with existing installations, the oil company announced in a statement.
The Protocol of Agreement aims to define the framework of cooperation between the parties with the perspective of concluding hydrocarbon contracts in the identified exploration zones in In Salah and In Amenas, in accordance with hydrocarbon laws.
As a reminder, Sonatrach and its partners operate the contractual areas of In Salah and In Amenas under the Association Contracts signed respectively on December 23, 1995, and June 29, 1998.
