The construction of the port is nearly complete, with 94% of the work finished. Hakkar closely examined the project’s advancement and emphasized the importance of meeting the set deadlines, as it plays a crucial role in expanding Sonatrach’s marketing capacities and fulfilling obligations to foreign partners.

Another project under Hakkar’s scrutiny was the construction of a liquefied gas tank with a substantial capacity of 150,000 m3. In the final leg of his tour, Hakkar visited the Asmidal complex in Annaba, a subsidiary of Sonatrach specializing in fertilizers and phytosanitary products. During his visit, he inspected the storage and distribution unit of Asfertrade, a branch of the Asmidal complex, and reviewed preparations for the upcoming sowing campaign.
