Sonatrach Recruitment Exam Scheduled from December 29 to January 4

Algiers, Algeria | December 27th, 2024 — Sonatrach, Algeria’s flagship energy company, has announced that its national recruitment exam will take place in phases from December 29, 2024, to January 4, 2025. The announcement, made via an official communiqué on Wednesday, details a rigorous schedule aimed at ensuring a transparent and efficient selection process for candidates aspiring to join the esteemed energy conglomerate.

Candidates who have registered but have yet to receive their examination summons via email are urged to promptly report to their designated examination centers. These centers have been allocated based on the geographical distribution of candidates’ residential wilayas. The communiqué underscores the necessity for adherence to this arrangement to streamline logistics and ensure smooth coordination.

Designated Examination Centers

Sonatrach has meticulously outlined the distribution of examination centers to accommodate candidates across the country:

  • Ahmed Draia University, Adrar (ADUA): Serving candidates from Adrar, In Salah, Béni Abbès, Timimoune, and Tindouf.
  • Akli Mohand Oulhadj University, Bouira (AMOUB): For applicants from Bejaïa, Bordj Bou Arréridj, Bouira, M’sila, and Tizi Ouzou.
  • Ammar Telidji University, Laghouat (ATUL): Covering Djelfa, El Bayadh, Ghardaïa, Laghouat, Ouled Djellal, Tiaret, and Tissemsilt.
  • Kasdi Merbah University, Ouargla (UKMO): Allocated for Biskra, El Meniaa, El Meghaier, El Oued, Illizi, Ouargla, and Touggourt.
  • 20 August 1955 University, Skikda: Designated for Annaba, El Tarf, Jijel, Skikda, and Souk Ahras.
  • Houari Boumediene University of Science and Technology (USTHB), Algiers: Encompassing Ain Defla, Algiers, Blida, Boumerdès, Chlef, Médéa, and Tipasa.
  • Frères Mentouri University, Constantine (UMC1): Assigned for Batna, Constantine, Guelma, Khenchela, Mila, Oum El Bouaghi, Sétif, and Tébessa.
  • University of Science and Technology of Oran (USTO): Catering to Mostaganem, Oran, and Relizane.
  • Djillali Liabes University, Sidi Bel Abbès: Including Naâma, Saïda, Sidi Bel Abbès, Tlemcen, Béchar, and Mascara.
  • Tamanrasset University: For residents of In Guezzam, Bordj Badji Mokhtar, Djanet, and Tamanrasset.

Required Documentation and Guidelines

Candidates are instructed to bring the following essential documents and materials to the exam:

  1. A valid identification card.
  2. The final university diploma or provisional certificate of success.
  3. Proof of registration for the recruitment exam.
  4. Necessary tools, including a non-programmable calculator.
