ALGIERS- On Monday, October 23, 2023, Mr. Rachid Hachichi, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Sonatrach, met with Mr. Patrick Pouyanné, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of TotalEnergies, at the Sonatrach Headquarters. Senior executives from both companies were present at this meeting.
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the longstanding partnership between the two companies and assess the progress of ongoing projects.
During the productive meeting, both parties recognized the potential for further collaboration, particularly in upstream activities, both within Algeria and on an international scale. They agreed to explore and identify new partnership opportunities.
