South Korean Parliament Speaker Kim Jin-pyo Visits Algeria for Enhanced Economic Cooperation

ALGIERS- The Speaker of the South Korean National Assembly, Kim Jin-pyo, is set to visit Morocco, Tunisia, and Algeria to discuss the enhancement of economic cooperation, as reported by the South Korean news agency Yonhap.
The National Assembly announced that Kim Jin-pyo’s 10-day tour in Africa, starting from January 14, will focus on increasing investments by Korean companies and revitalizing parliamentary exchanges, according to Yonhap.
During his visit to Algeria, Kim Jin-pyo will engage in bilateral discussions with the Speaker of the Council of the Nation, Salah Goudjil, and the Speaker of the People’s National Assembly, Brahim Boughali. The talks will center on strengthening cooperation and supporting Korean businesses operating in Algeria.
This visit was a focal point in the meeting last Wednesday between the Speaker of the Council of the Nation, Salah Goudjil, and the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Algeria, You Ki-Jun, who paid a courtesy visit.
