ALGIERS- Algeria and Russia are strengthening their bilateral cooperation in the field of space exploration. The CEO of the Russian space agency, Roscosmos, Youriy Borissov, is set to visit Algeria soon as announced in a press release from the Algerian Embassy in Russia.
On May 11, 2023, the Algerian Ambassador to Russia, Smail Benamara, met with Youriy Borissov at the headquarters of the Algerian Embassy in Moscow. During their working meeting, they discussed the current state of bilateral cooperation in the space field and the prospects for its development.
