ALGIERS– Mr. Brahim Boughali, Speaker of the People’s National Assembly (APN) of Algeria, is slated to travel to Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, this Saturday to partake in the proceedings of the Parliamentary Union of the Member States of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (UPCI) summit.
Mr. Boughali will lead a significant delegation comprising Algerian parliamentarians and senators to engage in the discussions at the UPCI summit, scheduled to be held from March 2nd to March 5th.
The UPCI summit serves as a platform for parliamentary representatives from member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) to convene and address pertinent issues facing their respective nations and the broader Islamic community.
During the summit, Mr. Boughali and the Algerian delegation are expected to contribute actively to the deliberations, offering insights and perspectives on topics ranging from legislative frameworks to socio-economic development strategies.
The presence of the Algerian delegation underscores the country’s commitment to parliamentary diplomacy and its active engagement within the OIC framework. It also reflects Algeria’s dedication to fostering closer ties and collaboration among Islamic nations for mutual benefit and shared prosperity.
