State of the Nation Address- Oxygen Crisis During the Health Emergency: President Tebboune Makes a Revelation

ALGIERS- In his address to the nation through the joint session of the parliament on Monday, President Abdelmadjid Tebboune revisited the global health crisis of COVID-19 and shed light on the oxygen crisis that unfolded in its wake.

“I emphasize the numerous challenges encountered in the execution of this program, starting with the global health crisis that imposed itself on us, much like the rest of the world. Urgent measures were taken to combat COVID-19 and address its negative impacts on all areas, especially the economic and social domains,” stated the President, as reported by national television.

“We successfully managed this crisis, with the People’s National Army playing a crucial role in acquiring vaccines and necessary healthcare products, which were challenging to obtain for many countries. However, the malicious, the haters, and the remnants of the gang found nothing better to do than to sabotage oxygen bottles and tanks in hospitals. They spread manipulated videos to deceive public opinion and committed attacks on healthcare personnel to create an atmosphere of insecurity, aiming to provoke the paralysis of the healthcare system. All of this was done to fulfill their abhorrent dream of destabilizing and collapsing the state, hindering the construction of the new Algeria,” continued the President.
