Strengthening Bilateral Ties: Algerian Parliament’ Speaker Boughali Engages in Fruitful Talks with Iranian Consultative Assembly President Ghalibaf

TEHRAN, August 21, 2023 – The Speaker of the People’s National Assembly (PNA) of Algeria, Mr. Brahim Boughali, embarked on a diplomatic mission to Tehran, engaging in substantive discussions with the President of the Iranian Consultative Assembly, Mr. Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf. The talks, held on Monday, not only emphasized the deepening of ties between the two nations but also underscored their commitment to international cooperation and the advancement of shared interests.
The talks were hailed as a significant step towards strengthening the relationship between Algeria and Iran, with both leaders addressing a range of crucial issues facing their countries and the broader region. These discussions highlighted the pivotal role parliamentary cooperation plays in advancing economic growth and diversifying partnerships, particularly within the context of Algeria’s newly enacted investment law aimed at fostering a robust and independent economy.
