Algiers, August 22, 2023 — In a landmark demonstration of international partnership, two Italian warships, “ITS STROMBOLI A 5327” and “ITS NUMANA A5557,” gracefully sailed into the Port of Algiers. This significant maritime event marks a crucial milestone in the ongoing bilateral military cooperation program between Algeria and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO).
With crisp precision, the two anti-mine warships nestled into the bustling harbor, embarking on a three-day stopover that promises to deepen ties between Algeria and NATO. As announced by the Ministry of National Defense, this strategic pause presents a remarkable opportunity for both nations to engage in a series of collaborative endeavors.
