Strengthening Collaborations: 7 Agreements Signed Between Public Works and Irrigation Sectors

ALGIERS- During the 19th edition of the International Public Works Salon at the Exhibition Palace, several agreements were signed between institutions under the Ministry of Public Works and others related to the irrigation sector.
Numerous parties signed 7 agreements covering areas, such as training, research, technological development, and emerging enterprises. These agreements underscore the commitment to enhancing collaboration between entities under the Ministry of Public Works and those associated with irrigation, higher education and scientific research, industry, pharmaceutical production, knowledge economy, and emerging small enterprises.
The “GEICA” Monitoring and Assistance Facilities Study Complex signed two agreements with the Technical Center for Metal Constructions “CTMC,” affiliated with the Metal and Steel Industries Complex “Imetal,” and the China Railway Construction Corporation “CRCC.” Another agreement was inked between the National Technical Control Authority for Public Works “CTTP” and the National Technical Control Authority for Irrigation Construction “CTH,” aiming to encourage partnership and enhance the capabilities of both authorities.
Additionally, an agreement in the field of scientific research was signed to establish a cooperation protocol between the Houari Boumediene University of Science and Technology and the Coastal Works Facilities Complex “GITRAMA.” The goal is to develop technical and scientific partnerships across various fields.
The Roads and Technical Facilities Works Complex “GITRA” signed an agreement with the National Higher School of Geodesic Sciences and Space Technologies “ENSGTS,” intending to support collaboration in studies, research, mentoring, and scientific training.
Within a second framework, the “GITRA” Complex signed an agreement with the emerging enterprise “Moubassir” to digitize the management system of the complex’s projects.
Furthermore, the National Agency for Railway Investment Studies and Monitoring “ANESRIF” signed an agreement with the General Directorate of Scientific Research and Technological Development “DGRSDT,” affiliated with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. This agreement aims to encourage scientific research and technological development activities in the study of basic facilities and mechanical industry.
These agreements mark a significant step forward in fostering collaboration, knowledge exchange, and technological advancements within key sectors of the Algerian government, reinforcing the nation’s commitment to progress and innovation.
