Strengthening Military Ties: Chanegriha Holds Talks with Saudi Defense Minister

ALGIERS- General of the Army Saïd Chanegriha, Chief of Staff of the Algerian People’s National Army (ANP), visited Saudi Arabia on an official mission representing President Abdelmadjid Tebboune. He was received on Monday by the Saudi Minister of Defense, Prince Khalid bin Salman Al Saud, as reported in a statement from the Ministry of National Defense (MDN) on Tuesday.
The meeting, attended by senior military officials from both nations, focused on the current state of military cooperation between Algeria and Saudi Arabia, rooted in a robust fraternal and historical relationship, according to the same source.
During the discussions, General of the Army Saïd Chanegriha expressed gratitude to the Saudi authorities for the warm reception extended to the Algerian delegation. He also lauded the deep historical ties between the two countries, emphasizing the importance of continuing and strengthening these bonds.
