ALGIERS- Algeria strongly condemned, on Tuesday, the air raids carried out by the Zionist colonial army against the Gaza Strip in occupied Palestine.

“Algeria strongly condemns the aerial attacks carried out by the Zionist colonial army on the Gaza Strip, causing several martyrs and injuries, including women and children,” according to a press release from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

“Algeria expresses its deep concern at the multiplication of barbaric operations and the dangerous escalation of occupation forces against the Palestinian people in frank violation of international laws,” the statement added.

Algeria called on the UN Security Council to intervene quickly to put an end to these criminal atrocities.

“Algeria renews its solidarity with the Palestinian people while calling on the international community and the UN Security Council to intervene urgently to put an end to these repeated and systematic criminal aggressions and to respect the right of the Palestinians to establish an independent and sovereign state with Al-Quds as its capital”.
