ALGIERS- The Prosecutor of the Republic at the El-Hadjout Tribunal (Tipaza Province) has issued a public statement today regarding a concerning incident that occurred in the locality. Yesterday, an individual deliberately drove his vehicle into his neighbors following an altercation.
The attack resulted in five injuries, two of which are in critical condition. Tragically, one of the victims succumbed to their injuries at the emergency ward of the local hospital, while another remains under medical observation. The remaining injured individuals have been discharged from the hospital after receiving necessary treatment.
In response to this grave incident, the Prosecutor of the Republic has ordered the initiation of a judicial investigation. Today, the primary suspect appeared before the investigating judge, who charged him with premeditated homicide and attempted homicide. The suspect has been remanded in custody pending the conclusion of the investigation and the scheduling of his trial.
