“Syria will not forget Algeria’ support during hard ordeal,” says Syrian ambassador following repatriation of Syrian nationals from Sudan

Algiers, SANA- Algerian President, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, received on Tuesday the Syrian Ambassador to Algeria, Namir Wahib al-Ghanim who has ended his task as Syrian Ambassador to the country.

“I was honored by meeting President Abdelmadjid Tebboune on a farewell visit to his excellency on the occasion of ending my duties as an Ambassador of the Syrian Arab Republic to Algeria, and I was briefed by his clear-sighted vision regarding regional and international issues, Particularly, the Arab ones,” Ambassador al-Ghanim said in a statement following the meeting.

Al-Ghanim added that the leaderships of the two countries are keen on developing bilateral relations, pointing out that Syria will not forget Algeria’ support to it during the hard ordeal.

“I thank President Tebboune for his great responsiveness in helping us repatriate 22 Syrian nationals on board the planes repatriating the Algerian brothers,” he added.

Al-Ghanim hoped progress and prosperity for Algeria would continue.
