ALGIERS- The Minister of Oil and Mineral Resources of the Syrian Arab Republic, Firas Hassan Kaddour, will pay a working visit to Algeria from April 26 to 28, at the invitation of the Minister of Energy and Mines, Mohamed Arkab, said a statement from the Ministry of Energy.
According to the same source, this visit is part of “the examination of possible ways of cooperation between the two countries in the fields of research and exploration of hydrocarbons, gas, mining and petroleum products, as well as the production, transport and distribution of electricity”. “
This visit also expresses the will of both parties to open new horizons for the development of relations between the two sisterly countries in the field of energy and mines”, underlined the press release.
And to add: “The Syrian Minister of Oil and Mineral Resources will be accompanied during this visit by representatives of the Ministry of Oil and Mineral Resources and the Syrian Electricity Company.”
