Syrian President thanks President Tebboune for Algeria’s assistance, spirit of solidarity

ALGIERS- The President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune received, Monday, a phone call from his brother, the President of the Syrian Arab Republic, Bashar al-Assad, who offered his wishes and those of the Syrian people on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, said the Presidency of the Republic in a statement.
The presidential statement added Al-Assad briefed the Algerian leader on the current situation in Syria.
The two sides exchanged views on bilateral relations between the two countries, the statement further noted.
Al-Assad thanked Algeria for its support to Damascus following the ordeal of 6 February earthquake that hit the sisterly country, concluded the communiqué.
