ALGIERS- The Minister of Commerce and Export Promotion, Tayeb Zitouni, has emphasized that Algeria is experiencing remarkable growth in attracting capital and investments from Arab countries worldwide. Zitouni underscored the pivotal role played by the new investment law in this regard.
Accompanied by the Wali of Ain Defla, Abdelghani Filali, Minister Zitouni oversaw the export of a shipment of cables and electrical transformers to Egypt, Senegal, and Ivory Coast. This initiative demonstrates Algeria’s commitment to fostering economic partnerships and trade relations with its Arab counterparts.
The Minister’s statements highlight Algeria’s strategic position as an attractive destination for foreign investment, particularly from Arab nations. The implementation of progressive investment policies and the creation of a conducive business environment have significantly contributed to enhancing Algeria’s appeal to investors.
