Termination of Duties for Eight Vice-Presidents at Sonatrach

ALGIERS- In the latest official Gazette dated November 5, a presidential decree issued on October 19 has resulted in the termination of duties for eight vice-presidents at Sonatrach, the national company.

As per the decree, the following vice-presidents have had their functions terminated: Mohamed Slimani, responsible for overseeing exploration and production activities; Amine Melaika, in charge of pipeline transportation of hydrocarbons; Nasr-Eddine Fatouhi, responsible for natural gas liquefaction and separation activities; Batouche Boutouba, overseeing refining and petrochemicals operations; Fatiha Neffah, responsible for marketing hydrocarbon products; Madjid Benarab, the finance manager; Fethi Arabi, heading business development and marketing; and Rachid Zerdani, leading strategy, planning, and economics.
