ALGIERS– The terrorist named “Mellouki L’Hbib” alias “Rabia”, who joined the terrorist groups activating in the Sahel region in 2012, surrendered, on Sunday, to the military authorities in Bordj Badji Mokhtar, indicated, Monday, a press release from the Ministry of National Defense.
“As part of the fight against terrorism and thanks to the qualitative efforts of the security services of the Ministry of National Defense, the terrorist named + Mellouki L’Hbib + said + Rabia +, surrendered yesterday, Sunday March 26, 2023, to the military authorities in Bordj Badji Mokhtar in the 6th Military Region,” the statement said.
The terrorist, who “joined the terrorist groups activating in the Sahel region in 2012, had in his possession one (01) Kalashnikov type submachine gun, two (02) grenades with two (02) detonators, five (05) magazines and a quantity of ammunition”, added the same source.
