Salah Goudjil, Speaker of the Council of the Nation, described the election as a “historic day for Algeria” after voting at Jardin de la Liberté School in Algiers. He reaffirmed the nation’s commitment to the values of the November 1st Declaration and urged citizens to vote to protect the country’s future.
