Algiers- Algeria, May 9, 2024 – According to the Directorate of Tourism and Handicrafts in Oran, a total of 826 foreign tourists arrived in less than two weeks aboard four ships, marking a significant influx of visitors to the city.
Bakel Salah, the director of the tourism sector in Oran, reported that the port of Oran has witnessed a notable tourist movement within a short period. He mentioned that four ships have docked, each carrying foreign tourists. The first ship brought 85 tourists, while the second welcomed 280 visitors. The third ship, which arrived on Tuesday, carried 380 tourists. These ships arrived at different times over the course of the past few days.
The fourth ship, named “Grand Circle Line-M/V CORINTHIAN,” docked on Wednesday, with 81 tourists on board, as confirmed by Bakel Salah. Upon their arrival, the tourists immediately embarked on guided tours around the city of Oran. These tours were meticulously organized to allow visitors to explore various historical, scenic sites, and monuments in the province.
The Directorate of Tourism and Handicrafts in Oran expressed its gratitude to the travel agencies operating in Algiers, which coordinated the visits to Oran.
