Training: TotalEnergies Algeria, University of Ouargla ink framework cooperation agreement

ALGIERS- TotalEnergies Algeria and Kasdi Merbah University of Ouargla signed, on Tuesday, April 25, a cooperation agreement in the field of training.
“TotalEnergies Algeria announces the signing of a three-year framework cooperation agreement with Kasdi Merbah University in Ouargla,” TotalEnergies Algeria said in a statement.
“This partnership is part of the “TotalEnergies Associate Professors” program which aims to create bridges between the world of energy and the university through cycles of conferences, courses or integrated weeks in the technical and economic fields provided by experts, employees or retirees of the TotalEnergies Company”, specified the same source.
“This partnership will contribute to the professional integration and strengthening of the employability of young students from Kasdi Merbah University in Ouargla who are considering a professional career in the energy sector. We are happy to be able to count on the recognized expertise of TotalEnergies Associate Professors to provide field experience and a global vision of the business world,” commented Samir Oumer, Managing Director and Country Chair of TotalEnergies in Algeria.
The axes of cooperation relate in particular to: The joint organization of conferences on technical, economic, scientific themes, etc.; The joint organization of certifying weeks in an immersive format that fit into the university curriculum with a certificate as the key; The implementation of a program aimed at facilitating the professional integration of young people: career days, internship forum, simulation of recruitment sessions; Participation in the development of new training programs in the field of Energy.
“TotalEnergies Algeria is committed to contributing to the development of future talents in the energy sector and to facilitating the professional integration of students through several support and training programs in the country,” the statement concluded.
