ALGIERS- Transport Minister Mohamed El Habib Zahana stated during his working and inspection visit to the Boumerdes province on Saturday that his department is committed to enhancing the services provided by the National Railway Transport Company (SNTF).
He emphasized that modernization works of basic infrastructures are currently underway. This initiative aims to reduce daily delays and enhance the efficiency of the railway network.
Furthermore, the minister expressed his intention to increase rotations, which is expected to have a positive impact on road traffic. This measure will contribute to facilitating the movements of users and strengthening connectivity between the various regions served by the SNTF.
These efforts are geared towards modernizing and optimizing railway transport services in Algeria, thereby offering a better experience to travelers and contributing to the socio-economic development of the country.
