UN Security Council Adopts Resolution for Immediate Ceasefire in Gaza: FLN Applauds Algerian Diplomatic Efforts

ALGIERS- The National Liberation Front (FLN) commended the efforts of Algerian diplomacy led by President Abdelmajid Tebboune following the approval of the United Nations Security Council on the project initiated by Algeria to cease hostilities in the Gaza Strip.
In a statement, FLN said, “Once again, Algerian diplomacy has made significant strides, represented at the highest level in the Security Council and in a matter of utmost priority for Algeria, with the Council’s approval of the project submitted by Algeria more than a month ago, calling for a cessation of hostilities in Gaza and an end to Zionist aggression against the Palestinian people.”
The statement added, “President Abdelmajid Tebboune has reaffirmed and emphasized this decision, reassuring the Palestinian people that Algeria will continue to persist and work diligently alongside the Palestinian right to establish a Palestinian state and to be fully represented within the international community with all rights.”
FLN considered that Algeria “has shown its commitment when it comes to the rights of peoples everywhere to live in dignity, and Algeria’s name has become a symbol echoed among the peoples of the world as an ideal model for humanitarian positions.”
