ALGIERS- The anticipated vote regarding Algeria’s draft resolution advocating for the admission of the State of Palestine as a full member of the United Nations, initially slated for Thursday, has been rescheduled for Friday, as announced in an official statement released by the UN on its website.
Algeria formally presented the draft resolution to the Security Council on Wednesday, urging the General Assembly to consider admitting Palestine as a full member of the UN. This action reaffirms Algeria’s persistent dedication to championing the rights and acknowledgment of Palestine within the global arena.
