ALGIERS- Amidst the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, many travelers have had to postpone or cancel their trips due to border closures. Indeed, numerous airlines have been compelled to suspend their flight schedules during this period. In response, the national airline, Air Algérie, has initiated a comprehensive operation to refund unused tickets.
In continuation of these efforts, Air Algérie has issued a new statement to provide updates regarding the refund process for tickets not utilized during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Air Algérie Extends the Deadline for Accepting Refund Requests for Unused Tickets
Air Algérie encourages its customers affected by this refund operation to visit Air Algérie’s sales points, equipped with the necessary documentation to facilitate immediate refunds. Additionally, for passengers who purchased their tickets through authorized travel agencies, Air Algérie advises them to visit the respective agencies to receive compensation for their unused tickets.
Furthermore, passengers who bought tickets from agencies that have ceased operations are urged to visit Air Algérie’s representation office located in the vicinity of the agency. Through this initiative, Air Algérie reaffirms its full commitment to resolving the situation for all affected customers amid the Covid-19 pandemic, ensuring swift resolution.
The national airline also informs, in its statement, that the deadline for accepting customer requests for processing is set for December 31, 2024.
