Vehicles/Dealers: Industry Ministry, solo institution empowered to communicate on any development in granting of approvals

The Ministry of Industry and Pharmaceutical Production informed, Monday in a press release, that it was the only institution authorized to communicate on the novelties concerning the granting of approvals of vehicle dealers, ensuring that 3 approvals have been awarded so far.

The Ministry, thus, indicated that “the commission set up by regulation with its services, responsible for monitoring the file for the granting of approvals for the exercise of the activity of concessionaire (dealer) of passenger and utility vehicles, in accordance with the regulatory provisions, continues to deal with all the requests it receives”.

To this end, as the “sole institution in charge of the file”, the Ministry of Industry and Pharmaceutical Production recalled that “it is the only entity empowered to communicate on any development in the granting of approvals to passenger and utility vehicles,” ensuring that three approvals have been awarded so far to Fiat, JAC, and Opel”.

Thus, “all other information that can be relayed in press articles and social networks remains unfounded,” underlined the ministry.
