ALGIERS- A new maritime passenger transport line linking the port of Béjaïa to the port of Sète (France) will soon be launched, announced Thursday the Port Company of Béjaïa (EPB), specifying that this line will be provided by the French private shipping company Corsica Linea.
To do this, Corsica Linea will charter, for three months (summer 2023), the ship Kalliste from the other French private company La Méridionale to strengthen its offer to Algeria from Marseille and Sète, according to information from the specialized media Le Marin.
From June 15 to September 15, the Kalliste will depart 27 times from Sète and ten times from Marseille to Bejaïa, Skikda and Annaba, detailed the same source.
The French company recently announced the launch of a new line between Skikda and Marseille. The inaugural crossing was made on Tuesday, April 25, from the port of Skikda. The frequency of trips for this new line will be one trip every two weeks from the end of April to the end of June, then one trip per week as of June 27.

In this regard, Corsica Linea also announced the strengthening of the Bejaia-Marseille line, with a frequency of one trip every two weeks from the beginning of the current month of May until the end of June.
