“Wage increase takes effect before holy month of Ramadan,” President Tebboune assures

ALGIERS– President of the Republic Abdelmadjid Tebboune said the decided wage increase will take effect before the holy month of Ramadan.

In excerpts taken from his periodic interview with representatives of the national press, which will be broadcast on Friday evening on public television channels, national radio and private channels, the President of the Republic specified that the salary increases decided and announced previously “will all be paid before the month of Ramadan”.

He also raised the issue of trade union rights, stressing that “it is constitutionally guaranteed”.

Furthermore, President Tebboune said that digitization “will become a reality, by the will or by force”, adding: “Currently, my enemy is the absence of development”.

On the social side, he assured that there will be no demolition operations or eviction of illegally occupied buildings during the winter season.
