As the meeting concluded, Walid Sadi expressed his enthusiasm about the fruitful discussion with Gianni Infantino. “It was a pleasant and exciting meeting given my personal knowledge of FIFA President Gianni Infantino,” Sadi shared. “I informed him that our country is experiencing a revolution in terms of the construction of sports infrastructure, including stadiums that meet international requirements.”

President Sadi elaborated further, “Regarding the FIFA program, which is, mainly, a strategic and global monitoring program of FIFA, we discussed several subjects. These included the establishment of new training centers, the development of refereeing, promotion of women’s football, and the potential of sand football.”
The conversation demonstrates Algeria’s commitment to enhancing its footballing landscape and aligning with FIFA’s global objectives to promote and develop the sport. During his visit to Abidjan, President Sadi will have the opportunity to meet with Patrice Motsepe, the President of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), and engage with various African football federation leaders. This engagement is expected to strengthen Algeria’s position in African football and explore new avenues for cooperation and collaboration.
