Weather alert: Strong winds, sandstorms, vision difficulties through different provinces

ALGIERS- Since the beginning of April, several weather phenomena have affected different regions of the country, such as; rain, thunderstorms and strong winds. In this article, discover the weather forecast for this Thursday, April 6, 2023.

Strong gusty winds, oscillating between 60-70 km / h, are expected to blow, as of today, Thursday, April 06th, 2023, along the southern provinces of the country, indicated the National Meteorological Office in a special weather bulletin (BMS).

According to the same report, the concerned provinces are: Béchar, Béni Abbès, Timimoun, the South of El Bayadh, Ghardaïa, El Menia and Ouargla.

Bulletin validity: Till 18:00.

“Winds’ speed will oscillate between 60-70 km / h, with sandstorms, causing vision difficulties,” added the same source.
