ALGIERS- Since the beginning of May, several weather phenomena have affected different regions of the country, such as rain, thunderstorms, and strong winds.
Strong gusty winds are expected to blow as of today, Monday, May 15th, 2023, along different provinces of the country, indicated the National Meteorological Office in a special weather bulletin (BMS).
According to the same report, the concerned provinces are: Skikda, Annaba and El Tarf.
Bulletin validity: From 15:00 until Tuesday dawn.
As for El Oued, Touggourt, Ouargla, El M’Ghair, and Illizi, the weather bulletin will run until midday.
“The winds will be accompanied by sandstorms, causing vision difficulties,” added the same source.
