Algiers, April 8, 2024 – The National Crescent Observation Commission, convened on Monday evening at Dar El-Imam in Algiers, announced that Eid Al-Fitr will be celebrated on Wednesday in Algeria after the non-sighting of the crescent moon signaling the beginning of the month of Shawwal.
Comprised of scholars and experts from the Center for Research in Astronomy, Astrophysics, and Geophysics, the Crescent Observation Commission operates branches in all provinces across the country.
