Algiers, Algeria | September 1st, 2024 — Brahim Merad, campaign director for independent candidate Abdelmadjid Tebboune, highlighted during a local engagement with students in Algiers that Tebboune’s project aims to advance the country further.

Regarding Tebboune’s plans if re-elected, Merad mentioned his commitment to supporting economic promotion across all localities, citing the Gara Djebilet mine project as a key example. He envisions Béchar undergoing significant socio-economic transformation, with effective mining operations, expansion of the railway network, and modernization of road infrastructure playing a crucial role.

Merad believes that Béchar has the potential to become a regional economic capital in the future, thanks to these advantages and Tebboune’s support for investors and project initiators. He emphasized the need for mass mobilization on September 7 to continue advancing the country’s economic development under Tebboune’s leadership.
