Algiers, Algeria | February 13th, 2025 — The upcoming visit of a notorious Zionist minister to Morocco, where she will reside in a luxurious suite in a five-star Marrakech hotel at the expense of Moroccan taxpayers, has ignited widespread controversy. The exorbitant costs of her stay were initially met with outrage in Tel Aviv, prompting Zionist media to clarify that her trip would be funded by the Moroccan government.
According to Zionist media reports, Minister of Transport Miri Regev, a member of the Zionist entity’s security cabinet, is set to attend the Fourth Global Ministerial Conference on Road Safety, scheduled to be held in Marrakech from February 18 to 20.
Hebrew news outlet “Globes” revealed that the Ministry of Transport had requested government funding for Regev, her ministry’s Director-General Moshe Ben Zaken, and her personal assistant to stay at the prestigious “Four Seasons” hotel, where suite prices range between €1,200 and €3,700 per night.
The total cost of this trip, exceeding half a million shekels, is being justified as part of her participation in the road safety conference. However, reports from “i24” confirm that this will mark her second visit to Morocco since assuming office.
News of her extravagant stay has triggered widespread political and media backlash in Tel Aviv, with opposition figures criticizing Regev for the unjustifiable expenses. Her trip, which includes staying in a lavish Marrakech hotel under heavy security, is seen as an unnecessary burden on taxpayers.
The controversy deepened when sources disclosed that Regev had requested an extension of her stay in Morocco for a private vacation after the conference, at a time when Zionist authorities are warning their settlers against traveling to the region due to the repercussions of the ongoing war on Gaza.
In response to the growing uproar, Regev’s office denied allegations that the Zionist entity was covering the expenses of her trip, claiming instead that the Moroccan government had invited her alongside other participating ministers. Additionally, her office defended the selection of the luxury hotel, citing security considerations.
Miri Regev is widely known for her extremist views and deep-seated hatred toward Arabs and Muslims. She has previously launched vitriolic attacks on Algerians and Tunisians due to their unwavering support for the Palestinian resistance. Her incendiary rhetoric has even included nuclear threats, reinforcing her reputation as one of the most hardline figures within the Zionist establishment.
The visit of such an openly racist and belligerent figure to Morocco, at the expense of its people, raises serious questions about the government’s priorities and the broader implications of normalizing relations with the Zionist entity.
