ALGIERS- President Abdelmadjid Tebboune presided over the ceremony marking World Press Freedom Day on Thursday at the Abdelatif Rahal International Conference Center in Algiers.
The event, held on May 3rd each year, gathered high-ranking state officials, government members, as well as national media executives and journalists.
President Tebboune’s presence at the event highlights the Algerian government’s recognition of the vital role of the press in society and its commitment to promoting a free and responsible media environment.
